  1. They have a cheek.

  2. I don't know but I just got done eating some chicken and it was GREAT!!!

  3. It's because we are humane.

  4. Animals should always b slaughter in the most humane Way possible. we as meat eaters owe them that much. as for halal meat its just wrong and should b baned .

  5. have you seen some of the videos of what they do to animals go to youtube and look it up if you approve of it your a sick ****

  6. I totally agree with you.  The government won't do anything about it though because they are afraid to confront Muslims and Jews.

  7. there isnt much concern over humane slaughter of animals. most people dont give a f * ck as long as they get their cheap burgers and chicken nuggets.

  8. Because a great majority of our animals are not slaughtered humanely and as for the Halal meat, that should be a completely illegal practice in the UK.  It's barbaric and, if it was practised by you or I, we'd most likely be arrested.

  9. Have you ever watched an animal being slaughered in the Halal way?  I'm not religious of any flavour, but I don't see it as inhuman letting an animal bleed to death.

They put it on the ground, and basically sever the head - it dies within seconds (unless there is some buffoon who can't cut properly).

I should probably point out though that I have only seen this done in Uganda, never in the UK...so perhaps it's different here?  But really, the animal is going to be killed anyway, as long as it is quick and relatively painless and the animal has been well treated during it's life, i consider that humane.

Here is a brief (part of the) definition: animals to be alive and healthy at the time of slaughter, since carrion is forbidden and, jugular vein, carotid artery and windpipe have to be severed by a razor sharp knife by a single swipe, to incur as less a pain as possible

  10. It is a pity that Muslim extremists do not practice Halal in the spirit it was meant originally under the Kosher laws (for the one is firmly based in the other).

One of the factors in the Kosher laws was to only choose animals that could be humanely slaughtered and that they be dispatched as quickly and efficiently as possible. The draining of the blood and all was to be done after the animal was quickly killed so the meat would not harbor contaminants.

It is a case, again, where the word of the law overtakes the spirit of the law.
