  1. Because of our taste buds are geared towards providing us feedback on acceptable/unacceptable foods. It's part of our survival instinct. Dung doesn't smell or taste good, and it makes us sick. Fruits and vegatables, on the other hand, are appealing. There are variations in our genes and taste system that account for why you may like cauliflower and I don't.


  2. We have taste buds that vary but also the palette of a person matures so for their taste buds some things are wow and for others who has a less developed palette they are screaming for a bucket now ;~0

    Sort of like the brain and why some people are smarter then others, nerdier than others or not so smart
