  1. Rocky is correct.  Riboflavin (B2) is the primary source of the bright (fluorescent) yellow you see in your urine after ingesting B-vitamin or multi-vitamin supplements.

The other answers here are ridiculous.

  2. yes B vitamins

    especially riboflavin (B2)

  3. Vitamin B 2 is the culprit, Riboflavin will turn your urine bright yellow, that's just what it does :-)

  4. Beer will clear it up and make you feel good

  5. Vit "C" ...................

  6. B complex turns my pee yellow .  Not harmfull, just is.

  7. a multi vitamin will turn it that way. Your body will only absorb some of the vitamin and the rest you pee out.

  8. Vitamin B-2  riboflavin is a natural yellow dye as well as a b vitamin.

  9. It's the B vitamins, they have a yellow color.  If you have ever taken a B complex tablet or capsule, you may have noticed that they are yellow  or speckled yellow and brown. Most vitamin tablets have more of the B vitamins than the body can use at one time. The portion of the B vitamins that is not utilized by the body are expelled in the urine, turning it a bright yellow.

  10. Your body was not designed to handle such high doses of vitamins at once.  That's why they are mostly a waste of money.  Every time you see that flourescent pee, you are pissing your money into the toilet.

If you want to take vitamin supplements, take ones that have low doses, or just eat a sensible diet.
