  1. This is a known issue related to Internet Explorer. The Internet Explorer browser (IE) sometimes has trouble understanding the instructions sent when you preview or click on certain links. When IE can't understand the preview or link information, it will display an error message instead of opening the new window in which your preview or external web page is supposed to appear.

To remedy this problem, we recommend using Mozilla Firefox or Netscape Navigator as your computer's default browser. When you preview or click links to sites outside of SiteBuilder, the expected new window will open in Firefox or Netscape instead of IE; neither of these browsers should encounter the same error problem.

You can download a new browser anytime at http://www.mozilla.org/ (Mozilla) or http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/ (Netscape).

To set Firefox as your default browser, open Firefox and select Tools, then Options. In the General section, choose "Set Default Browser."

To use Netscape, open Netscape, select the Edit menu, then Preferences.... In the Navigator section, click "Set Default Browser."
