Why is it that when I don't feel like helping, I'm at war with my mom and dad?

I know how you feel I'm always getting in trouble for not cleaning the house on the weekends they just want you to show some responsibilities around the house if you do that you may get things you want

If you are living in the Nation of Mom&Dad that is a totalitarian state and they are the leaders. you are not. if you want to be the boss and do what you want than leave, otherwise do what your told and pull your weight.

i know how u feel cause i help out a lot around they house, but whenever i don't feel like it they bug me about it. they probably feel that you have more energy cause your younger.

Because there are a lot of times in life when you just don't feel like doing something, but you have to suck it up and do it anyway. It's a life lesson.

You know sometimes it feels like they are just being mean but they are really doing it because they love you, there is no book on how to raise kids so your parents are doing the best they can. Remember this, someday you will have kids and you will want to protect them and you'll remember what your parents did and you will be fine. Also, parents have a lot of stress in their lives and even though you may feel that you have just as much stress you don't. They have bills to pay, food to buy, work to do and when do they have time to play? They love you!

probably because they want you to learn what it is like to grow up and live in the real world as an adult... you got to start somewhere, and the best place is when you are young, sooo much easier

when you are an adult, you can't just slack off when you dont feel like working. what would happen if your parents didn't feel like going to work, or paying the bills, or buying food and clothing for you? it's just part of life, and they want you to learn now, so it will be easier for you
