creative and type groups.yahoo.com/group/ "something here" ........Then is sometimes goes to groups with that name?

The Yahoo Group Search Engine says they don't exist but clearly they do. So what is a more effective way for searching for groups that yahoo does not allow to be shown in they're search box?

Should I put things in Quotation Marks or underscore? Is there some sort of trick I don't know about?

  1. Not too long ago when I was typing in a URL for one of my groups, I had a typo. And instead I got sent to a couple of groups with very similar names.

If the group is one you've already joined, going to My Groups will bring up a list of the groups you're in, and you can navigate from there.

If it's one you're trying to visit either to browse or join, you might want to go to the group directory and search from there- and once you've found the group you want, bookmark it.

    I hope this helps!

  2. that directory has been goofy for a long time. there really is no rhyme or reason as to how it ever functions or lists some categories. you're almost better off just searching by category than a spelled out search using key words. maybe it's all due to a tired server!
