Why is it that when you drive fast, there's always someone wanting to pass you?

Competition for one and if you are driving fast and I'm behind you following you I am using you to clear any cops ahead.

All these answers you gotten and none of them are right. What you need to do is be happy that some is passing you when you speed that way you can play the Guide CAr Game. The Guide Car Game is when your going fast but someone wants to pass you then let them. Then you go the same speed they are going but 2 car lenths behind them. They are garantteed to get a speeding ticket before you do. Plus when you see them hit their brakes you hit yours. When they speed up you speed up. You have to learn how to play the game. It makes going really fast and still not getting a ticket an everyday thing. (This is the best way to drive especially at night when you can't see the cops pulled off to the side of the road) So enjoy it when you can

Driving is boring. Many people play the game of "pass the next person in front of me". They've set a mini-goal of passing everyone them end up behind. This keeps them awake and allows them a chance to speed once in awhile.

Anyway, shaking tailgaters isn't hard.  I mean they don't care about you, they're not thinking at all, obviously.  So make them want to be behind someone else.

So that was you that held me up this morning!!  Just kidding I guess they want to go faster than you.  The only time i pass someone is if I'm running late or their going exactly or under the speed limit I can't take that.
