  1. The trick is, buffets are always full of carbs, which make you feel full faster than sugars or proteins.

  2. Because buffet food tends to be full of cheap fillers: starches and sugars.  They make feel full faster.

After all, restaurants are there to make a profit.  They know that they can tweak the food content so that you end up paying $10 on an "All You Can Eat" buffet and then only eating $5 worth of food.

  3. buffets rock.

  4. I think they try to make sure all the food there is very stuffing so the people won't eat as much as they originally planned and they don't have to pay more for extra food so the place ends up with more money in the end.

  5. carbs and msg......they got lots of msg in them.

  6. msg!! is a drug the put in the food.... to fill u up faster

  7. they make everything salty so you drink more and fill up faster..

  8. that is why  they actually save money that way

  9. they make sure you have plenty to drink first

  10. because at a buffet, you are not sitting still having things passed to you, instead you are getting up and down and looking the food over, etc, which allows your stomach time to tell your brain that you are full sooner.
