Why is it that when you try to burn metal & wood, same size wrapped with paper, paper-wrapped metal burns 1st?

  1. Metal is a good conductor of heat as it has mobile electrons to aid in the transfer of heat, thus it transfer heat to the paper faster than the wood which is a poor conductor of heat that is why metal wrapped with paper burn first
