Why is it that when you use crest white strips, that this gewy stuff is left on my teeth?

Should I leave the strip on longer? Am I supposed to let the gewy stuff stay on my teeth or wash it off?

★umm my sister had it and it says you keep that strip on for 5 min. and that when you take it off u wash ur mouth and the gewy stuff comes off☺:D

After taking off the crest white strips, the whitening gel is left behind so you have to wash out your mouth thoroughly
