I thought she would be a big draw for women.

  1. I'm a woman and I like her. She was a big draw for the base of the Republican party. Or have you bought into the false assumptions of the Obama campaign?

  2. Women hate men who take them for granted. Its all about what Hill stood for not just picking an questionable character and using her to obtain votes. The woman had never been out of the country until 2007 so she knows nothing beyond her nose.

If she's worth her salt let her openly deny the baby issue. Voters have a right to know the truth in any alleged scandal.

  3. She's hot? Dear me, you've got bad taste, she's as plain as they come - I'm not g*y but if I was I still wouldn't touch her...

  4. Why would you think she's a big draw for women? Because she's a woman? Hardly. A lot of women don't see the need to be a life-time member of the NRA and don't agree with her stance on abortion. Unfortunately, neanderthals don't see the difference between hot and qualified.

  5. Chipmunks with glasses are smoking hot.

  6. jealousy

  7. No, The Earth, it's not because she's "hot" (which i don't even see!), it's because she's not qualified, she's in the middle of an ethics scandal, she's not her own person, and she doesn't stand for anyone but special interests.  I know you wanted $10 gas from your answer before--you'll probably get your wish with Alaskan oil shill Palin and McCain in power!

  8. No, it's because she loves children. Democrats seem to like to murder them. Plus she's hot and most Democratic women are dogs...Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer, and who can forget Janet Reno

  9. Because she is a blatant misogynist.

And whether or not a woman is "hot" is completely irrelevant in the world of politics, Mr. Shallow Hal.

Do you think being pretty will make one iota of difference to terrorists? To the falling dollar? To the credit meltdown? To natural disasters? To being 9 trillion dollars in debt? To getting us out of Iraq? To spending our tax dollars where they will do the most good?

It must be a miserable existence seeing the entire world out of the eye of your d**k.

  10. she is pro life and most women are pro choice. It just irks them to no end that a Pro Lifer will have the first shot at the White House instead of a Pro Choicer. Guess Obama should have picked Hillary then.

  11. Palin is weak on women's issues.  She doesn't think a woman should have control over her own body - ever.  She's anti-homosexual - which should alienate 100% of lesbians.   And her meager experience in Alaska is VERY SCARY.   Particularly when you consider that McCain said there would be "many wars" and that we would be in Iraq for 100 years.  What happens if Pres. McCain starts a couple of wars and then has a fatal heart attack?  It will be President Palin (good Lord) with her Alaska experience.  I would be surprised if she even knows who the players are in D.C.   John McCain's first big decision was so irresponsible.

    Hi Wooglet!

  12. SHE IS PANDERING TO HILLARY SUPPORTERS,

IT IS NOT WORKING HILLARY SUPPORTERS ARE INTELLIGENT AND THEY KNOW THAT PALIN STANDS FOR EVERYTHINGTHAT HILLARY HATES

PALIN IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS HILLARY CLINTON

  13. Duh.  It's not Palin the person or Palin the woman, it's Palin's politics.

She was elected Alaska 's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.

She is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.

She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.

She thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.

She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.

She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.

  14. Like so many people on this forum you are overgeneralizing, many women strongly support Palin, just as many women do not, in most cases it has nothing to do with her appearance or gender and everything to with her politics, just as it does with men.

  15. Not bad for someone who new on the scene.

Overall, voters expressed a favorable impression of her by a 53/26 margin, but there was a severe gender gap on this: Men embraced her at 58% to 23%, while for women it was 48/30
