Why is it the Australian embassy work so slow with th eprocessing of visas? what are the usual cause of prob?

my relatives in qld sponsored my application my application was lodge last june 2006 and there are lots of requirements that i have complied and all the payments were settled, my sponsors already paid for the assurance pof support and security bond last december 07, but why is it my visa is not coming? the DIAc dont have any update of whats happening and whats next or to expect,...im starting to loose my patience...

Verification of data on the documents submitted is taking too long as part of the processing of the visa.

your application may have been given in June, but the last document given to them , you mentioned was on December 7th? so it is over a month since, be patient, whether you are or not? it will not change the situation, so be easy about it, it will come in time, to all who wait....;
