....To choose 12: 00 noon in someones birth chart when you don't know that persons time of birth? why at noon and not for example 10 am in the morning?

  1. This is just like using the midpoint method as it churns out the best possible outcome of a 50-50 chance. Since the day is devided into 24 hours, 12noon would be the midpoint method.

    So in reality, its really hypothetical in nature and is not of much use or accurate in determining a REAL chart, unless one can give a better indication like in the early morning, late evening and so on...

    Without the known birthtime, the Ascendnat is likely to be inaccuarte and hence, the House placements cant be determined as well. However, it would be safe to assume that the other planets, esp.the slower-moving ones, are still in the right signs.


  2. Noon is the midway point of a day.

    When I use the noon chart, I ignore the rising sign and the houses and just concentrate on the planets, the signs they are in, and the aspects they make to each other. I get about 70% of the info in a chart just from that information, even when I do know the birth time.

  3. It's just standard treatment.  You can do whatever you want.
