Why is it the cd I downloaded one full track?

I downloaded a cd off a torrent site and it came as one song with the full cd, which I'm not sure is supposed to be split or what?

you can split it. download audacity (free) and just split it into different tracks. Im guessing to upload it he had to make it as one file or the program he used ripped it as one file for some reason.
