Why is it weird to be with my family?

Question

Im 13 years old, and I love my family and like to go to places like busch gardens and water parks with them, but people think im a momma's girl. i just love my family and am a family person. is there anything wrong with that?

whats wrong with liking your family?  Wish i had a great family that i like to hang out with.  Wish i could still hang out with my mom but shes not interested.

its not wrong to be a family person but dont try to be super tight with your mom you need some room for your friends

I'm still a Mommy's girl and I'm 19 lol don't worry bout it your mom is your best friend and always will be she cannot portray you or disappoint you that's y we stick with our mum i love my mum and i always want my mum around she is a big part of my life and i don't care if some one says oww you a Mommy's girl i just say yea i know y you jealous or summat having a good relationship with your family is the best thing ever trust me always stick with them you don't need anyone elz

No it's not weird, you just seem to have grasped something that many teenagers don't.  No one will ever be there for you like your own flesh and blood.  No one will ever completely adore you the way your family does.  Most teenagers find that love smothering when they're trying to find their own independence but once they're out on their own they miss it.  

You may go to off college and have a roommate and you may come in one day looking like c**p and that roommate might even make you a bowl of soup.  But it will never be the same as when your mom stops the whole d**n world because her baby's sick.  

What do you mean go for coffee???!!!!!!  My girls sick, I'm looking after her, I don't have time for coffee.....ha ha ha....bet you've been there.

Friends are great but that kind of love comes from family and when you find it elsewhere....marry it because odds are if you miss it you'll never find it again.

I'm way way older than you, but can your family adopt me? LOL My family never goes and does anything together. In my 40 some odd years we've gone some where together twice! That doesn't make you a mommas girl, makes you a loving daughter. Keep up the good lovin in the family girl~

you're luckier than most people, trust me.

just continue to love your family, don't care what other people say, they are just probably frustrated because they don't experience what you have, they envy it. you're lucky because you have a complete family who love you.

People have a tendency to put down what they don't have or are jealous of.  If you are lucky enough to have a family you love and who loves you, enjoy it for as long as you can and feel sorry for those who don't. They are the ones who are calling you a momma's girl.

There is nothing wrong with liking your family, I used to like playing family games and hanging out all the time with my family, but then my sister and I started having different interests, so it doesn't work out very well anymore. Enjoy it for as long as you can, nothing lasts forever.

i dont think its wrong. but at that age its kinda a teen thing. its a phase where the teens seem to stray away from family for awhile. i love to do stuff with my family like you. and one of my friends always makes fun of me and gives me c**p because i hang out with my family all of the time. i dont get why people think that way. they are family, your supposed to spend time with them.

There is nothing wrong to be with family. Yeah, its fun to be with them. Maybe the people that say that your a mommas girl doesnt have as much fun as you. They are just losers. =p
