the democrats (party of kindness and compassion) are not angry with him? Do you think if a republican said that the dems would be up in arms?

  1. It's the same thing when Sharon Stone says Sichuan Earthquake is karma.

Stupidity. Idiocy. Freedom of Speech has problems.

  2. He figured the people of New Orleans deserved another bashing.

It's interesting to watch the difference.  New Orleans has a hurricane plan now. The state and federal government are on alert.  Everybody learned something last time.

I hope they don't flood very badly. That's rough.

  3. Remember the preacher who said in public last week that he was praying for rain for Thursday so that it would disrupt Obama's speech?

I think Moore was putting his own unique spin on that and Gustav's effect on the Republican convention. It's over the top, but that's Moore.

  4. Well I won't profess to speak for Michael Moore but what I don't get is so many people keep saying that this Hurricane is an act of God. Why is it that they keep saying that they will be praying for the potential victims. Who will they be praying to, God? If you accept the argument that God caused the darn thing in the first place what good is it to pray to him? Obviously he doesn't care. Shouldn't people be angry with him? Shouldn't they be cursing him and not praying to him?

  5. Oh who knows?! Politics is like a schoolyard full of kindergartners. "My dad is better than your dad". "You're stupid". "You're a dork". It's ridiculous.

  6. First off he is an idiot. When faced with total destruction enemies of the USA have prayed for a "Divine Wind" to save them. It didn't work for the Imperial Japanese Army either.

  7. Moore speaks on his own behalf and is not a representative of any sensible Democrat

  8. They know he is gross.

  9. Michael Moore would make an excellent gift to a remote island inhabited by starving cannibals.

BTW, I find it shocking that Michael Moore believes in God!

  10. Can't have it both ways, and since Bush caused Katrina, he has a hand in this one too...come on Michael please be consistent.
