Question:

Why is it when a person steals a bus, they go along the route and pick up passengers?

I have read about them doing this a lot.....Or they "borrow" a New York subway and drive it.

  1. It happened on one of NJ Transit bus long time ago. Some one stole the NJ Transit bus with sign put on PAY ON DRIVER and thief drive the stolen bus along it's route and police found this bus somewhere. Some NJ passengers who were on that bus routes were upset.


  2. I have never heard of ppl doing that ever. Do you have news articles or weblinks to show that? The only thing I remember was when they stole a bus and went on a high speed chase.

    More people to take out with them or just a career choice that they did not get to make...

  4. 1 thrill, -- #2 money, -#3 it looks normal and is not suspected, as this is what buses do!

    If they get away far enough they can always brake into the change box!   And of course people who steal buses have not considered plans much!

    its also happen in Flordia as well (not the same person though)

    a child stole a bus and drove it allong its route )
