Why is it when a teen acts as an adult when having s*x they act as a child if they think they are pregnant?

I mean they act like they know what they are doing when it comes to s*x, they think they are old enough...Why is it they cannot act as an adult if they are pregnant, got someone pregnant or think they are pregnant..why be scared when you were not scared when you had s*x??

I am just curious as to why people are like this??

Not all of them are like that. Some people are just like that, they THINK they know what they're doing. Some adults act like that if they get pregnant too.

Teens don't fully consider the consequences of their actions. Then once reality kicks in, their immaturity leaves them with no ability to problem-solve.

that doesnt happen in all cases...so thats pretty much stereotyping all the teens..which is wrong...i am 17 be 18 next month and have a 15 mths old daughter and i was able to face the consequences without being scared and i know quite a few young mothers who were the same way..so dont stereotype all teens to be the same.

Very good question!!! I had s*x at 15 and lost a baby at 16. I regret having s*x but I wish I would have had my baby. I know I was too young and that is probably why he/she is in heaven.

Not every teen acts like a child. It's not fair to stereotype people like that. I'm scared not because I'm pregnant but because of what I did to become pregnant and the fact my baby could be harm if I am a carrier of a disease that runs in my family. I promised myself I'd never cheat on my boyfriend and I did for all the wrong reasons. The idea of being pregnant has never scared me and still doesn't, I'd never kill a life just to make mine better.

If you can't handle any and all of the consequences, you shouldn't be having s*x.

I think it is the fact they are facing their fears of a future they never thought would happen to them.Somehow many people think they will be thelucky ones and not get pregnant.I guess the fact they might question the commitment of their partner  might also be a concern .I guess it comes down to being a reality check that they don't know eveerything ( just like their parents who just happen to know a little more)

As a teen myself I'm sure there are some teens who are mature however Im 17 and the immaturity that covers this section is pretty hard to ignore.
