  1. I take 200 mgs of Zoloft, I tried once to taper off and found I felt horrible, so I continued. I have felt so much better since I have been on it. Take it slow and follow what the doctor says, it is not a medicatin you can just stop taking, it is a slow process. Good luck hunny

  2. It's the rebound effect. This happens when you go off a medication too quickly or stop it altogether. It is really great you are working with your doc on this! You need to talk to your doc about it...tell them everything so they know how to treat you properly. You may need to slow down the tapering off the drug or go back to a dose where you feel comfortable and try again at a later date. Anyway, talk to your doc about it. This is somethign he/she needs to know!

  3. Well it is not a cure it is a tool. It may not be in your best interest to be taken off of it. And if your doctor thinks you should then another medication and therapy combined should be considered. Therapy should have been part of your treatment all along. Many people benefit

from these sort of meds and therapy. I and my daughters do - there is nothing wrong with it.
