  1. I am going to assume you are a teenager.  And I'll tell you the same as the others I also had these dreams as a teenager.  A lot of confusion happening in your life at that age and if manifests itself as nightmares when your young.  For me, the stress left immediately after I moved out of my parents place.  I never had any nightmares after that.  That is because living with my parents is what caused a lot of the stress and anxioty.  There is likely a big trigger in your life too, and when you identify it and resolve that issue, your nightmares should go away too.  Random dreams mean nothing, but repetitive dreams are your subconcious's way of telling you something is wrong. So start trying to work out what that is.

  2. Hi Jungo

Dreams are the subconscious mind's way of working things out ... generally these things are either too big, too awkward or too upsetting to have time to focus on them during your waking time .... so your mind separates and dissects them through your dreams.... don't worry about them too much.... they probably don't mean a lot ....if on the other hand you have any interest in the meaning of dreams then you might want to Google 'Meaning of Dreams'.... in this case I think more like your violence is an expression of your anger that you've experienced in situations recently, and your being chased is more about you trying to get away from those uncomfortable, awkward, embarrassing situations .... trust that your subconscious is looking after you and it's a healthy mind that dreams.....

  3. This isn't an answer to your question but, I used to have the same dream over and over as a child. My bedroom was at the bottom of the hallway, my bed was positioned so I could see down the hall at night when my door was open, my dream was from the shadows of the bottom of the hall a very tall thin figure all in black, no facial features, with long arms used to run toward me very fast but his arms and hands used to slap the wall, ceiling and floor really quick and loud!

  4. I don't either. I dream about tornadoes and being chased, or walking through a dark parking lot alone and scared almost every night. I've been told that means there is a lot on your mind, stress in your life, and perhaps you just aren't getting enough sleep. Various medications can have a major effect, and eating before bed can have minor effects as well.

  5. i think you are either worried about something extreme and your brain is throwing awful ideas out there to make it worse, or you are thinking that you'd like to do some of the things in your dream
