  1. it could be a number of things, could be fuel starvation, fuel mixture, not enough fuel in tank, timing or loads of other things best to have it checked on a dyno buddy, sorry cant be more help ,

ps, have you checked fuel filter, that is overlooked quite a lot people dont always think to check the filter. good luck

  2. possible fuel starvation, try looking at the fuel pump or change the fuel filter if it has one for starters.

  3. overrev would cause the fast moving parts in your engine to overheat or break. a rev limiter makes sure your enging doesn't rev up higher than the factory wants it to. they determine these limits after years of testing. so it's safe to say that the factories know what the limits of the engine are. the rev limiter cuts electrical power so the engine can not rev any higher than allowed.

  4. sounds like fuel starvation, you should check fuel pipes to make sure they are clear, only other thing i can think of is that the auto choke is not working that is if bikes have them.

  5. is this a racing question?

  6. Since you did not explain exactly what its doing I would guess that you are hitting too high of RPMs and thats your rev limiter making it cut out like ba ba ba ba ba ba get it.

  7. THERES NO PETROL IN IT.

  8. Mine has started doing this too.  I have an 05 GSXR600.  It's only when it's hot that it does it though.

Sorry no answer, I'm taking mine to the dealer to have them look at it.  Hoping it's a fuel filter or weak battery when the cooling fan is on.

    Thanks for asking, good question!

  9. its probably a blocked jet in carb or a spark plug breaking down maybe even a broken powervalve...take carb off strip and clean..ensure airfilter is clean and lightly oiled..check all electrical connections especially if u have pressure washed it wd 40 all over to displace water...check u hav a healthy spark and not an intermittent one...even new plugs can b faulty hope this helps or u need to top end strip and check for broken rings, powervalve now dont forget to wear some rubber gloves either lol pink marigolds would look pretty lol

  10. carb not adjusted correctly for proper gas/air mixture?  You may be running too rich with acceleration.
