Question:

Why is it when someone criticizes someone else or just offers their opinion, they are labeled as "haters"?

It seems that any time a person offers any type of criticism or less than positive opinions they are automatically labeled as "haters." Just because some people may not agree or have a less than favorable opinion of something or someone, doesnt mean they are jealous or anything.

  1. Add all the haters e mail to the trash and empty it!

  2. "a hater" is what idiots call opinionated people.

I think insecure people who maliciously tear down others are haters.

  3. I agree with you!

Somebody asked the question here "What if American were a woman," and proceeded to really bash the country. Every other answer that followed did the same thing, but mine. The couldn't understand why I wouldn't bash the country and, in fact, claimed I was trying to stop their free speech in voicing their dislike. Guess who was the one who was reported and got the answer removed? They talk free speech, but you'd better agree with them or they'll try to shut you up in any way they can!

  4. If you're called a hater, it's probably the way you said or explained it.  Also, if you had nothing to back it up.

  5. coz if it aint construccccccccccccctive criticism ..why are they sayin it what the fuuuuuuuck is the point it makes themselves sound bad

  6. I agree

I think "hating" Is when you constantly talk negative about a person for no reason.

If you dont like someone then fine.  But to talk bad about some chick for doing the same thing most chicks do is hating.

  7. Because people don't like to admit or consider that they might be wrong and it's easy to dismiss someone as a "hater", someone who just "hates" for no reason.  Personally, I think it's an utterly stupid term.  It's also to save face...most people don't know how to criticize without insulting someone, and nobody likes to look like an idiot.
