The best is when you get solicitors at the door who rings the door bell 3 times then knock loudly just to try to sell you some stupid magazine you don't even have time to read.

I always run into something....loudly.

Or there's those wonderful time when you step on a toy, it hurts like h**l, but you can't make a sound. So you hobble quickly and quietly into the other room so you can curse loudly.

**How could I forget those wonderful LOUD toys the grandparents bring....always going off at the wrong time. Nothing wakes a kid up like  a screaming monkey. Most Annoying Toy. EVER.

lol i do it most nights, i trip over something in the dark trying to sneak away or bang into something or my silly dog comes running up the stairs and jumps up against the door, opens it and goes physco in the room with excitement lol

Yes thats is very annoying. But not as annoying as when she's just dropped off and the blooming ice cream van comes around with "Teddy Bears picnic" blaring full blast. Every evening without fail. Roll on winter.

This afternoon it took me an hour of rocking my little one in my arms to get him to go to sleep

I started to walk into our room to put him into his bed and got him wrapped and into bed i turned around and sneaked off and just as i got to the door i tripped on my slippers and ran into the door

He woke up immediately and i had to start again i was so peeved

lol we have a house with only polished floor boards, most nights i have to get up to the loo and i have to sneak past my daughters room to get there. I reackon i sneak so bloody quitly that i always get that d**n squeeky floor board!! she doesn't wake straight away, she waits till i get into bed and comfy then she cries out for me to get back out of bed and put the dummy in! lol good question!

But my favourite is when Daddy picks that very moment to yell from the living room about something he just saw on TV.

Or plainly slams the door open and wondering loudly, "So is he asleep yet?"
