  1. When you are young you just can't wait to get older to do all the exciting stuff older people do.So, it's like that saying a watched pot never boils or like watching paint dry. Then you get older and do all that cool stuff adults get to do .time flies when you are having fun .Then, the next step is death and you are not excited about that at all.things you don't want to happen seem to happen faster. not sure why.

  2. well, when you get older time passes because you are working your whole life and when you do have time off that goes by even faster. the human mind doesnt even realize that time is going by so quickly it just happens! i hope i helped at least a smidge!

  3. dear it's all in the mind, sometimes when we get older we become loaded with tasks and responsibilities we worry about a lot of things pressure from family and work.it feels like time is moving so fast unlike when we were younger.

  4. When you grow older, time DOESN'T pass by faster. You just think that, but time goes just as quickly as when you were a child.

Oh, and this is definitely not a math question. I don't see ANY numbers in your question.

  5. b/c old ppl sleep all day

  6. This is no formula-Time DOES NOT go faster than when you younger, it just FEELS faster because you have many more things filling up your day and your mind, and taking up your time so you are not looking at the clock as often. So when you DO look at the time, it has been a while since you last looked, so time "Seems" to be going faster....

  7. math problem?

    thats weird.

well... im not creative enough to mend that with math.

but i do think that its because when we're young, everything is new and exciting. the older we grow, the more familiar we become with things and everything sort of starts to get dull. i think thats why teens are the ages that people do the craziest things.

i hope i helped with your homework. [=

  8. well i don't know how to answer this question through math and numbers... but hear me out.  it might give you an idea.  the older we get the more responsiblities we have, we have to study more,we have to work more, we just have more things to do.  we also can have fun way younger people can't.  keeping yourself occupied makes time seem like it goes faster.  i hope this helps

  9. well as i have learned the brain slows down as you get older.electrical connections in the body aren't as good as they used to be making it seem as though if time were moving faster. really don't know how to word it as a math question though

  10. learning new things every day gives that day and time significance when you are young everything is new every moment has the potential to awe you as we get old we see a lot of things over and over. we don't pay attention to them so there are less and less events that frame our time so with fewer memories time seems to pass faster.  JMO

  11. This is a math question??  Sounds more like philosophy...I'd say the answer is because you simply have more to do...there's less focus on the passing of time, and more on tasks.

  12.   The  time  stays  the  same  ,as  you  grow  older  you just   have  more  things  to  do .

  13. Algebra?  Seems more like a physics question.  I can't wait to see the answers.  Great question. I wish I thought of it, considering I wonder about this practically every day!

Edit: After some pondering I've come up with this.

    Velocity = distance/time or

Speed of life = distance one has moved/age

Distance and age are both cumulative (adds up throughout  life)

The rate (with respect to age) at which one moves everyday (hence distance) is such that with every year, the speed of one's life increases (if you do a little plug in math, you'll see this is true even if one moves relatively little).

If one is to stop moving - say about a year for the sake of calculations, the velocity would decrease gradually - meaning pretty much, one is dead or comatose.  Therefore you can theorize that if the speed of life decreases, one is dead (exception being a serious coma).

And if one is dead or comatose, one has no conscious awareness of time, therefore time won't exist for the person.

Without time, you can't have velocity.  Without velocity, you can't have life.

If I'm way off, hey at least I tried.

  14. It feans that you're getting old and time is going fast for u. (Your time to die is closer.)

  15. ok its a matter of time relation as well as responsibilties and keeping ur self busy..

so lets say u are ten years old yes one year feels to you more than one year feels to you when you are 20 because it would have been 1 tenth of you age hence a bigger value thus the connection with time.

and when you are 20 the same one year is only 1 \twentieth of your total age thus feeling shortar because its a smaller value .. same when your 40 1 fortieth of what it was when you where 10 years old..

phsycs life rules of time and magic , plain math and phsyics a bit of biology and somthing u dont want to hear .

  16. Heh... beats me. Cuz you got more stuff to do and it makes your life another year shorter. XD
