  1. shhhh

  2. Well you can get a full English.

  3. i would like to know that too

  4. cause chinese food is chinese and indian food is indian!

  5. Yea, that's what it is. McDonald's, Burger King, it's American food. When you order chinese food, or indian food, it's appropriately called chinese or indian food. What else do you want to call it, Hot Fried Balls?

This should clear up some of the confusion:

  6. it's a funny question.  And the answer will be what exactly is an American cuisine?  Burgers and fries... not even remotely American..

In fact there is no such thing as American or Canadian culture or Australian barring England.  It is known as a homogeneous culture of colors, smells and sounds...

    cheers

  7. sure why not

  8. because they just do

  9. burger king is english isnt it? when someone says 'lets have an indian/chinese' its just a shorter way of saying 'lets have an indian/chinese meal takeaway'.

  10. I see the flaw in the semantics, but I wouldn't be too cool with the idea of expecting mashed potatoes and getting curried rice.  Likewise, I'd like to know where to go for ethnic foods.  Plus, unfortunately, McDonalds is known the world over as a place to get a burger.

  11. I'm sorry I don't understand your questions AT ALL. So "they" meaning the people who made it? work there? or the reseraunt? or the actual food is called "an indian"

I have never heard someone say hey, I'm hungry... lets go an a chinese"

They say lets go get chinese. It's plural you don't go get one chinese.

And because Mcdonalds and Burger King really aren't American food and my family and I never eat that sick c**p.. I hope they DON'T think that is just regular American food. I hope they look at a stead, baked potatoe and salad and say, hey, thats american and its d**n good!

  12. Actually, some places do! I was just in France for the semester studying. If you went to a sandwich place, many had burgers on their menus, but listed them on the menus as "Américains."

  13. Or fish and chips having an English
