is there a way a can float instead of sinking

  1. just practice floating on your stomach and then try to incorporate it to your swimming


  2. Floating, I had alot of trouble with this when I was little. Well first lay back and relax with your head back and your tummy and hips up (just like you ate a thanksgiving dinner).  If this is still not working make sure your hips are up and kick a little (I know thats not technically floating if your kicking but who needs technical anyway?)

  3. You have to be very relaxed.

  4. Relaxing is the key.  Depending on your muscle mass, your legs may not float to the surface and hang towards the bottom of the pool and there's nothing you can do about it.  Stick your arms out to the side and push your belly up and keep your head back.  Try putting kickboards or something that floats under or in your hands to help you start and then take them away when you're ready.

  5. be relaxed, keep your chest close to the surface if not above, and be on your back

  6. lay back... just float on your back

    keep your head back but above the water

  7. relax try it in your bath tub lol
