Why is it written ...?

I've noticed that there's latin written on every pack of Marlboro ( Vinni vidi vicci) but why this particular phrase? It basically means i've come, i've seen and i've vanquished...is there something they trying to state here? Maybe they've come , seen people and conquered them ( smoking kill!)

What do you think?

  1. its just a phrase to make people feel macho bout smoking

  2. I smoke Marlboro and I can't find the phrase anywhere.  What up wit dat?

Mine says PM USA with the horses

  3. Vini, vidi, vici' is the phrase reputedly uttered by Julius Caesar and landing on the shores of Britain in the Roman invasion of 44 BC. It mean 'I came, I saw, I conquered'

Basically Marlborough are claiming the same with their product in that they are assuming that anyone who smokes them does so in preference to any other brand.

My advice : Give the filthy habit up if you are a smoker and don't start if you aren't.
