Why is kaif selected, he has been miserable?

In RR team he is the highest paid player, but is terrible. Now he is selected in India team. what a waste.

he is a good fielder and can make few runs as well

in 20-20 if u take a catch of good batsman in first 6 overs it simply makes huge difference

How come you can say that he is selected? Somebody has given you wrong information, atleast you would have checked once before putting up the question. He (Kaif) is not even  considered in the 15 member squad leave alone team.

Anyway, you are right that he is not a good player. Once, I mean when he entered international cricket, he was a good player, but now God only knows why he has been so much out of the game, form, etc., His international career is almost over & to get back in the team its quite difficult as the selectors are much more interested in young players. That's the reason for which Dravid, Ganguly & the old brigade are been ignored.
