i for one cant help ask myself why is she so lucky!? if u take away all the press and rumours, she is indeed probably the luckiest girl on earth at this point in time! she's got a PRINCE for a boyfriend thats for one thing! and she most definitely WILL marry him! and when she does, given a little time, she is going to be the QUEEN of the future king of england! i dont think they will ever break up! five years is a long time! their marriage is as good as sealed! besides, even if she doesnt really love him, like i said, she's been lucky enough to get a sure chance to be queen, i doubt she'll want to leave him, i dont think she's gonna wanna pass up the chance to be royal! sometimes i wonder why some girls have all the luck!

  1. What you see in the media are all the glamorous side of being royalty, however, you don’t know what goes on behind the spotlight. Unless you have very thick skin, no one could take so many criticisms from both the media and the royal family before falling into depression. The late Diana, Princess of Wales had suffered depression and eating disorder through stress and pressure from both Prince Charles of Wales and the Queen. Diana was from an aristocrat family and had been very close with the royal family since childhood and she could not even take the pressure. I’m sure Diana had set a great example of what life was really like behind those heavily closed doors. I highly doubt Kate Middleton could handle it either, especially being the first commoner lady from a middle class background to marry a future King in ages. The previous commoner lady was Wallis Simpson, who married Edward VIII of the United Kingdom, and he was forced to abdicate (mainly because she was a divorcee and a Catholic), and the rest of the royal family resented her.

Not only Kate Middleton was criticized from time to time, so were her parents especially her mother. Prince William’s aristocracy friends always refer her mother as the “door to manual” because she was an ex-air flight attendant. The inner royal circle further criticized her mother when they were invited to meet the Queen, because she was chewing gum during the event and her improper way of addressing to the Queen. All these little things do add up in the end and I’m sure this has made a deep impact on Kate since she is extremely close to her mother.

The important factor in whether this relationship will work or not comes down to Prince William himself. They broke up early this spring because Kate was pressuring for marriage, something that Prince William is trying to avoid. He confronted to the Queen and his father that he loves Kate, but not enough to move onto the next level. Although, they are back together for now, this does not mean he will marry her, he simply misses her companionship (whatever that means to a guy). When a guy tells you, “I love you but not enough” that is a sign to move on and find someone else who really care about you and your feelings.

Being royalty is definitely every female’s dream, however, is it worth giving up your self-dignity and takes every criticism about you and your family? Would you really want to live in depression and stress from the media and the royal family?

  2. I think Princess Diana may have disagreed with you to a certain point about being "lucky".  The royals may appear to lead a glamorous life, but personally, I wouldn't want to live in the fishbowl that they live in, with everyone and their dog having an opinion on what they wear, how they smile, what they do in their free time, what kind of car they drive, etc., etc.  Even the smallest mistake makes the front page of international papers. And there's a nutcase on every corner who thinks it would be cool to assassinate a royal.

Yes, they have a lot of privileges, but I'm not sure the privileges are worth the price.  I think I'd rather just be filthy rich and be able to live my own life privately. :-)

  3. Just remember that the grass is NEVER greener on the other side of the fence its just a different shade of green.

I for one would not want that kind of pressure in my life, ....life is hard enough on its own with out all of that.

  4. Well, it happened to her.

Where were the rumours  that she didn't love him?

    Oh, well.

    I never heard that.

I haven't been paying much attention to Kate Middleton anyway these days.

Why would you want Prince William anyway?

He's not as attractive as he used to be.

Here is how I think of it: Kate gets to marry a prince who is ugly while I get a s**y commoner.

  5. I don't know. I wonder the same thing all the time.

And why would anyone be his girlfriend if they are afraid of becoming queen. For those of you who don't know alot of people say that she is afraid of being queen. Seems like she must not have been thinking that it was possible she could be queen.

  6. This will only happen IN GOD'S TIME.

  7. Hmm. I guess I don't see it as so straightforward. They're not engaged now, and they broke up for awhile only months ago. I think their few years together have already shown that William's status alone isn't enough to keep the relationship together -- they have to make it work as a real relationship, just like anyone else.

  8. Why is everyone so hateful of Kate Middleton?

I moved out of England before she came into the royal picture, but people are doing with her exactly what they were doing with Diana. Hyping up something that is completely trivial and unimportant to their personal lives, making a big deal of it.

Leave the girl be! She's pretty and smart and if she marries a prince, well, good for her! It's not an easy life to be married into royalty...

  9. Stop getting so excited! william isn't the only prince in the world. More to the point he isn't even good looking. He resembles a horse. Why is kate lucky??

lucky to end up like diana in a grave at 36? Yeah sure, that's really lucky. The monarchy in england is on the verge of extinction.

The royal family isn't even that well off. JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books surpasses the queen in wealth.  That should tell you something.  That should tell you something about the financial status of the royal family.

I bet william even has an uncut p***s. Eww!
