  1. Because Lieberman is a Republican, trying to get a Republican elected, in a year when most American's can't stand Republicans.

    Simple duplicity...it's one of the things Republicans do best.

Look at congressional records.  The vast majority of congressional votes are unanimous because they are not contentious issues, but rather procedural votes.  I bet if you actually do the math, you would see that Obama voted with Bush the vast majority of the time as well (unless he decided to vote present or not show up for these mundane votes).

  4. I agree. McCain himself admitted that he voted Bush 90% percent of the time. In fact, I think there is a new Obama ad that includes the footage.

  5. Go back and read some news from 2000-2006.  

  6. A real maverick would have chosen joe liebermann as vp. We know that is who he wanted until he got push back from fat *** limbaugh
