Why is male nudity in movies so much more taboo than female nudity?

That's only in the U.S.  

Go to Europe and watch TV there, it's soooo not taboo.

I can only assume it is so in the US because women have much more delicate sensibilities than men and therefore we would faint with shock at seeing a nude male on the big screen.

This is probably because it is mainly men who make movies and they want to see the female nudity and not the male. Also male nudity is much more wobbly, less refined and more comical.

Guys just have the one major thing to show off before it's nudity. If women loose one piece of clothing theres nudity.
