  1. Far fewer people will pay to see an undressed man.

It's business and it's all about the money.

  2. A woman needs to watch her input to be slim and attractive, a man also needs to look fit, not just like he has few body fat.

  3. women's reproductive organs are on the inside.

  4. Cosmopolitan always has naked men in their issues lol. I've yet to see an issue where there isn't a naked man covering his crotch.

  5. i don't know, but i've noticed that too!

like when i went to see "forgetting sarah marshall," there was this group way in front who laughed every single time the guy was naked on the screen, and i thought, geez how immature. it's not like he was bad-looking or anything.

QOSBen: yes, there are a lot of topless guys in movies, and they may even show their butt sometimes, but never their genitals...b*****s, however, are far more common.

  6. movies are not real. In real life you never seen anybody naked because if someone goes naked, they will get arrested but you see more topless men than topless women.

  7. is there really a double standard? I see just as much male nudity as female. what your most likely meaning is the veiw of the genitals which you'll most likely find that if the female is shown so also will be the male. other than that male nudity is just as prevalent a male is not considered nude with his top off a woman is, plus you'll find that whilst men love to see the v****a women however aren't that fussed about the p***s to look at it's more about what you do with it.

  8. No double standard ; it's a fundamental method a broad can earn easy $$ with. And certainly men would prefer to observe a naked woman than a naked man. It's a man's world..There you have it !

  9. That's not a double standard: that's what most people who vote clamor to see, and its what most people who participate want to do.

  10. Women like to be seen by men, but they aren't so interested in looking at men. Men are the opposite: they like to look at women, but they're not so interested in being seen by women. That's why...

  11. Well supply and demand. Much more men are willing to spend money to see an attractive naked woman, than women willing to spend money to see a handsome naked man. And the other reason is because male frontal nudity is rated as more "explicit" than female nudity since a woman's gentials are internal and such can be shown and still be rated as rated R, whereas, the rating will go to X rated if the male p***s is shown if it is not used in comedy. Most movies are not rated higher than R as higher gets into the p**n category.

  12. I'll agree with the guys on this one that there's just as much or more upper body nudity showing men.  I think the lower body nudity has to do with showing reproductive organs on film.  You can't see a woman's....

  13. Far less people wish to see an undresses man

  14. I think for starters there is a lot more on a woman able to be considered nude.  If we counted all the men with their shirts off I am sure men would have a much higher rate of nudity in the media.  But I do think much of it has to do with the media and society's obsession with the [healthy] female body.  Calling it a "double standard" seems a bit radial.  Just because something is not perfectly equal, does not mean it is a double standard.

  15. I disagree, there is just as much male nudity as there is female. Any film with Brad Pitt, Will Smith etc you are bound to see them taking a shower or topless at some point.

  16. It's because most people working in media and advertising are still men so they automatically think 'Great, lets put some more nude women in that will impress the guys. nah...no naked men ew!'. And it works - it draws attention to the product or films so it's just a way of targetting their audience and drawing them into whatever product they are making money from.

  17. Men are much more visual than women when it comes to sexual stimulation.  A women's body sells much more to a man, than a man's body would sell to a woman.  Women aren't so enticed sexually by the sight of a man, but rather more-so from the way a man makes her feel physically.

  18. Male sexuality is not celebrated in the same way, it has actually been demonized in recent decades.
