  1. Actually it all depends on the people's mind if they think that it is easy everything becomes easy but if they think that it is tough then everything becomes tough.Another thing is practice people who find maths tough should practice a lot because mathematics cannot be byhearted as it is an application of the things we have learnt

  2. I am a math teacher.  Many people learn to be scared of math because of bad experiences with bad teachers or because they're parents tell them it is hard, etc.

I have tutored lots of people and when you understand the relationships of numbers it gets easier and easier.  It's not really tough if you understand it you just have to try hard and hopefully have a good teacher to explain it to you.

Some people are better at math than others just like some people can play the piano and some people can do back flips. I am to scared to try and do a back flip.

    Hope this helps.  : )

  3. maths is a subject of mind if u do it with interset  and repitedlly u will feel easy but if u  feel it  tough it becomes tougher oftroll its just a bunch of theory

  4. Maths is tough for many people, there are many reasons like they could have Discalcular! Discalcular is being Dyslexic in Mathematics.

    hope this helped :P

  5. coz theyr dumb.

na um i think in maths you dont have reasons why u should do things (like pie,i mean wtf? why do u even need that?).

or teachers and people jsut tell people you should do this and not give them a reason why and so not many people remembe why u should do a certain thing.

    well thats what i think

was that too long of an answer?

    heh

    ahh well.

  6. in very few case, they fear it because they do not understand it.....

some also pre-assume that they wont be able to do maths, and keep themselves away from it the whole academic year, and then obviously do poor in exam...and then further get afraid of it and do poorer...a vicious cycle....

but in most cases, people do not try to UNDERSTAND it, and instead try to mug it up....which is the most disastrous thing to do for maths....

these the reasons for which people get afraid of it...

  7. Answering maths question needs specific and one answer. To emphasise more precisely 1+1=2 only 2=1+1(a+b)(a+b)=a sq+b sq+2ab only when we write sequence wise/orderly,where as other subjects can have more than one method of answering, which constitutes more or less the same answers from different answer papaers.Hence and as people like freelance writing;most of us may not like writing in an orderly fashion, which requires thinking power.

  8. Numbers are always tough with the different ways you can calculate.

  9. some  math is new   for people who did not have in school before

  10. maths requires work..

    for a long time...

its not limited and definitely requires ur mind to be exercised...

i guess not all people are willing to put in effort for studying maths...

hence they dont learn or practice it.. so they dont understand it.. hence they get scared...

    right...?

  11. Poor interest/motivation in the subject and inadequate study habits for the topics on the part of the student, improper teaching methods on the part of teachers, maths not being encountered in routine transactions of life for most people, right brain dominated( in the right handed) are some of the reasons, all of which could be overcome to a large extant.

  12. For most people it is the lack of interest and knowledge in the field.

  13. I dont know why maths is hard for some people. but in saying that I think the main reason that it is required for everyone to attend school for such a lengthy period of time is due to the fact that they need to learn how to use the things that the generation before us has invented. Does that make sense?

  14. it is a tough subject.it requires a lot of concentration.i know how tough it is.bcoz i am an mpc student and i have completed my +2 this year.

  15. Everyone learns differently.

There are right brained people & left brained people.  (creative and mechanical...if you will)

I am a hands on visual learner who requires one-on-one learning (for math) not a "read the directions" kind of person.  Math for me is also rather difficult.  It doesn't help that I see little or no value for me to know  calculus or trig. etc.

I had a brilliant roommate in college and she showed me how to do the math I did not understand.  I ended up with an A+ when she only got an A.  Some of us need the one-on-one. (PS.   I would have failed the class without her help.  It was a very complicated math class...the final was 3 problems. After 3 hrs.  the prof. decided to make it one problem.  I did all three.  It took about 4 sheets of paper (both sides) per problem to do.)

Try to get that one-on-one help.  Do not be too shy to ask about what you do not understand.

You will (if you don't already) flourish in another area.  Regretfully we often need those bummer classes to make us a complete person.  I need math for doing my taxes and to better comprehend my investments etc.  so it is a necessary evil.  I even write things about math.  (stories or poems..hmmmmmmmmm  I think I have an idea for another short story.)

    Namaste, kiddo

  16. Maths is tough for many people because they usually do not apply their whole brain in doing or practicing maths. Some people also fear of it because some of their friends develop a habit to say that the maths is really very very tough and I'll get fail in it, due to which that person also starts fearing of maths by seeing his friends condition.

  17. It depends on how they think. Analytical thinkers are best at math.
