  1. he embarrassed to be a republican

    understandable.

  2. GOP's failed the last few years. He wants to be President. Can't associate yourself with failure.

  3. To get votes! If Bush had been a kick *** president McCain would have been like "he's my buddy....I'll get like him"

You distance yourself to get votes. Just like Palin said about Obama being for the people when their listening and saying they cling to guns and religion when their NOT listening.

When your party is doing great your on their side when their not you step away 10 miles deep.

But it won't work. People KNOW he's is Bush but older and a war vet

  4. NO!!! He's reforming the GOP from Bush's version of the party.

  5. Everything the GOP does turns to dust and failure.  They've spent the last several years wrecking executive agencies, breaking the judiciary, and undermining Congress' power.  No reasonable person could look at the Republican legacy of s***w-ups and failures and decide that this is a group they want to associate with.

  6. Because this is all about him and how wonderful he is.

  7. to give the "Bus Lady" something to do.

she kind of reminds me of the Bus Lady on South Park

  8. GOP became so unpopular - too many aggressive idiots talking c**p

  9. Because he is a moderate.

    Bush is a conservative.

  10. no he is just campaigning, it has nothing to do with policies. Mccain plans on s******g the poor and middle class just like Bush did, don't worry about his campaigning tactics. He is just trying to get fence sitters, same as Obama.

  11. He is trying to win the votes of people who are with Bob Barr and other third party candidates. Last numbers I saw were 50% Obama, 42% McCain, 8% other.

  12. they dont want people to think they are voting for bush

    all over again

  13. No, in fact ,he is very smart.  He is distancing himself away from Bush and it is necessary to push himself away from the party to some degree.  He is still a Republican and once this mess that the idiot has perpetrated on the American people is over then McCain will once again refer to the Republican party with love in his heart and a smile on his face.
