  1. mercury does bad things to your organs , and the body can only take a little bit , it is deadly stuff , which is deadly

  2. Because it is corrosive, flammable and explosive

  3. Mercury batteries aren't unsafe per se. The problem is disposal and the subsequent environmental impact of these decomposing batteries in landfills. The element mercury is pretty benign, but certain compounds containing mercury are highly toxic. When they leech out into the environment they get incorporated into the food chain.

  4. IT ISNT only if yu get mercury on your skin or eat it can it harm you and you didn't plan to do that did you?

  5. Besides organs in general, overtime, exposure to mercury can cause damage to the brain.

It used to be used by habadashers to make hats (not sure how).  Manny of them became a bit wacky since their brains were damanged, and that's where the expression, "mad as a hatter" came from.

  6. Thanks

  7. google it.

If you consume mercury that is bad because mercury accumulates in the body and it is a poison.
