Why is misbah ul haq not playing for royal challengers?

I think because there should be four players from overseas and the rest 7 should be from India , now when you have guys like Kallis (allrounder),Boucher (T20 spl) , Steyn (Fast bwl) , and Ross Taylor ( T20 spl ) it becomes difficult for Misbah to choose play among them. Until Taylor leaves for New Zealand it will be tough for Misbah to find a place in the starting 11.

It is an interesting question and only Dravid can answer. I have

been wondering since the 3rd match, why he is not being

selected. Never heard that he was injured. I understand they can

play only 4 internationals - Ross Taylor, Kallis, Boucher and Steyn are played. But now Taylor needs to go this week and that

will force Dravid to bring him in on. In addition, he can make up

some but still not good enough unless Virat, Boucher, Kallis

and Dravid pick up their slugging skills. Bowling - Steyn, Zaheer

and Praveen are OK, but still lack other 2 - 3 bowlers. Joshi is

horrible and does not fit in this format.

Unless they change very quick, I do not see them getting off

from the bottom of the table.

Only 4 overseas players can play in the team.Hence few good players have to sit out.

If Misbah was selected in place of Kallis then this question would have been -Why Kallis is not playing?

This is happening in all the 8 teams.Some very good players have to sit out because only 4 overseas players can play in the team.

Ross Taylor is leaving for the England tour so i think Misbah will get a chance now.
