  1. transmigration. movement of people from a certain place to another.

along with that came exchanges or influences of  faith, arts (culture) or skill or trade,  of a certain tribe to the rest of the world.

    read silk road.

and then music is universal. and the great ones doesn't have wordings necessarily, for it speaks to an individuals' soul.

  2. Personally, I don't think anything is a great example of diffusion theory.  However, if you want to talk about globalization and glocalization of various styles of music, you could use diffusion.

  3. O.K.  Everyone knows about the polka.  It is prevalent in Eastern European culture.  In the 1800's the polka took the world by storm, so to speak.

Have you ever listened to Irish music or Hispanic music? With certain songs, you do not know the source.

Are the origins of the music Irish, Hispanic or Eastern European?  They all sound like a form of the polka.   I say this is an example of cultural diffusion

  4. It's a good example because music started by one culture has spread throughout the world.  I mean they listen to hip hop in China
