  1. YUCK!  My son had this at about 5 months. Put baby oil on it with a cotton ball. let it sit 15 min. "scrub" it off with a soft toothbrush!  WORKS WONDERS

  2. maybe it's dandruff

keep washing his hair with baby shampoo, selsun blue,  neutrogena's t- gel, or head and shoulders

  3. He may have some more cradle cap coming in....my daughters went away for awhile and now it's coming back.

  4. cradle cap...i think all babies get it. I would use a fine tooth comb (baby comb) to sort of scrape it off but not too hard. Basically just comb it a few times and then use baby oil or lotion on it. you might have to do it a few times and when its gone it could come back.

  5. If it's cradle cap, definitely don't waste money on lotions and potions, just take the baby oil with you when you next go in the bath together and rub it in to his head. It comes right off with oil, then you're in a good position to wash the oil off too.

  6. if you are brave enough try using just a drop or two of dandruff shampoo to wash his hair with. while it is all sudsy, comb through his hair with a baby comb kinda firmly, then rinse out the shampoo. None of my babies had that bad of cradle cap, but my 12 year old had a really nasty case of dandruff earlier this year...huge flakes the size of my pinky nail. It was enough to make me gag. I personally washed his hair and scrubbed his scalp with my fingernails for about a week before it went away.
