Why is my 8 yr.old pee so dark?

The obvious one is, not drinking enough water,  the more water you have in your diet the lighter it will be.

The color of your pee has to do with how much your kidney had to remove from your blood. Your kidneys remove everything you don't need including water. If you don't drink enough water your pee will be darker.

If they are drinking enough water then I can only suggest taking him to the Drs to get it tested out.
