Why is my ENTIRE name showing up in groups?

i thought all information i entered was confidential. my name does not appear anywher in my profile. i am suffering a lot of embarrassment!!

Go to http://my.yahoo.com and sign in.

Click on "My Account" near top of screen.

Enter your password again.

On the far right side of page, click on "Edit/Create Profiles."

Near top of page, to the right of the profile you wish to edit, click on "Edit".

Click on "Edit Profile Information" tab.

In the field "Real Name", delete your real first and last name and type in your Yahoo nickname or leave it blank.

Scroll to bottom of page and click on "Save Changes".
