Question:

Why is my Liquid Shredder surfboard getting heavier?

It feels heavier and i tried opening the drain s***w at the bottom but not a lot of water came out, but it still feels a lot heavier than usual. Any advice?

  1. You're essentially riding on a sponge with a plastic coating.  You probably have a ding in it somewhere letting water in.  If you opened up the drain plug but nothing came out the water may not be real near the plug.  Try leaving the s***w out for a few days with the board somewhere warm to see if it will evaporate out.  Also, find the hole and fix it.

    I'm not going to say that you made a poor choice in boards but next time spend a little more and get a better board.  Buy a used one if you have to.


  2. get rid of it. it's taking on water. don't buy a cheap board next time.

  3. same happenend to me so i took off the drain s***w and it came out or you one time i just opened the drain s***w and left it for while.  Maybe you have some water damage inside the board.

    Well c**p. They try to say it can't happen with their boards but then say it can. Get something else.
