Why is my MyYahoo! page located at uk.my.yahoo.com when I live in the U.S.?

Question

When I signed up for MyYahoo! I entered my correct time zone, but even my searches lead me to sites associated with the U.K. Thanks in advance for any help that is offered.

some of the yahoo server are hosted in united kingdom even tho you live in U.S it is very easy for when u signed up to get the signal from there
