Why is my PLDT DSL 1MBps connection downloading at 10 kbps?

The connection was good for 3 weeks the bam..constant 10 kb downloads..Even slower than my 384 kbps connection at home...What are the possibilities the problem is on my side and how do I fix it? Callin their customer service is a paon so any solutions I can do on my own..All my wires are new btw...

ganyan din sa akin pare may problema din ngayon. pag minalas-malas nga 5-7kB lang ang download rate... palagay ko wala sa iyo ang problema kundi mismo sa base station kung saan nakaconnect ang pc mo.
