Question:

Why is my Pampered Chef foamy soap dispenser not working anymore?

I bought the PC hand soap dispenser, which you add liquid soap and water to. The pump makes a foamy lather for hand washing. The pump has recently begun getting stuck in the downward position. I can manually pull it back up after each push, but it's getting annoying. Has anyone else had this problem with their PC pump? If so, what should I do? I haven't had the pump very long... maybe 6 months, and I'm already using the back-up pump for the same problem I'm having now.

  1. Same thing happened to me.  Had to throw it out.

  2. Same thing happened to mine, never was able to fix it. Also, a couple years later I started using a face wash with the same sort of pump, and everytime it was almost gone, the pump would die. I think its just very poorly designed and they only last so long. Try calling your seller and complaining though. You might get your money back.

  3. You no longer pampered it?  How long is the guarantee, call the seller.

  4. It is not you it is the product design.  Ask for a new one if you want to try another, but better yet return it and ask for your money back.  I am not sure what their guarantee is but contact the person you bought it from.

I own many PC products and absolutely love them.  I still order from PC to this day.  Having said that, the soap dispenser is by far their WORST product.  I don't know if it is the actual design itself but I purchased 3 of them before and none of them worked.  (Same goes for the oil pump that is supposed to spray out cooking oil, as opposed to buying a can of PAM which PC will tell you is "bad" for you chemicals in it, etc.)

Stay away from their spray products of any kind.  They just don't work.  Everything else though is tried and true.
