Why is my Sim floating?

Question

I have the Sims 2 (obviously) and when I tell the Sim to "Go Here" instead of walking, they float there.

Any idea what's going on?

And how can I make them un-float?

well it sounds like a glitch and if you cant fix it by trying a diiffrent fmaily or reseting the one you are curently playing then oyu are oging to have to uninstall it and re install it, sorry if it comes down to that expecially i foyu have a awesome family and life oging in it and if you have all the expansion pack, well good luck
