Why is my Tablet PC Calibration not working?

I have a Toshiba M405 Tablet PC with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 with SP3 on it. Ever since I acquired this laptop in February 2008 the screen calibration has not been working. I can get into the window but I cannot seem to click on the cross-hairs with my tablet pc pen. Outside of Screen Calibration, my Tablet PC works fine with the active digitizer pen.

That's a tough question and I honestly don't know why you wouldn't be able to calibrate the pen.

I'd check with these 2 on-line TabletPC forums to see if similar posts have been made, and what resolutions they have found.  There are many VERY knowledgeable members there.
