Why is my Xbox being repaired in Microsoft and how long will it take to be repaired?

Hi. My Xbox 360 got the 3 red rings of death, and Microsoft has agreed to repair it. I live in the UK, and it was picked up on the 1/5, a Thursday, by USP. When I looked at the receipt they gave me, it said that my Xbox was going to be delivered to be Frankfurt in Germany. Anyone know why it is going there, and not somewhere in the UK?

Secondly, according to the USP website, my Xbox was delivered and signed in Germany on the Saturday night. But when I go on the xbox repair status on the website, it says that they are still waiting for my Xbox to be delivered. So, how long do you think it will take to arrive Microsoft, and then how long will it be until it gets back to me?

my best mate had this same thing he got his repaired in germany too and it took 2 weeks but it is fine now u just have to wait
