Why is my Zune acting up?

I have had my zune for about 6 or 7 months now and it has been working great. i have tons of vids and songs. But the today the buttons just stopped working. The back button and the play/pause button work to turn on the backlight but i cant use the navigation pad. It wont turn off either and i need the navigation pad to restart it. This morning it played straight on till it died and i couldn't turn it off. Then when i plugged it in it started working like normal again and then i unplugged it and it went right back to how it was earlier. i cant use it unless its plugged in.

I would take it back and get your money back. And take that money to go buy an ipod. My zune has acted up so many times. It to the point where its not even charging.

I would say, get an ipod
