You did not mentioned if it leak was coming outside or inside, if the leak is inside, the cooling coil is dirty or the drainage is clogged. If the leak is from outside, it is normal for an AC with overflow. sometimes there's a drain funnel  accesories included when you buy a new AC unit.

it condensing the water that is in the air.. this is completely normal.. if its leaking water where you don't want water to be.. then you should be able to adapt a plastic tube on the bottom of the air conditioner to take the water where you want it to go.

it might be tilted. i had that happen before and there was like a large puddle on the floor, when i checked it.. i found it was leaning forward.

That would probably condensation. But it shouldn't be much. From a few drips to maybe a consistent drip when A/C is running.

If you want to save water, put a pan/bucket under it and save the water to water your plants.

air conditioners generally don;t leak BUT

they do make water - the condensation on the tubes

as warm air passes over the cold tubies

it would only leak if your drain pipe is clogged

better check - - - mold stinks!

im guessing it is condensating. is it comming from a pipe to the ground. that is ok. if its leaking in your house thats not ok.

Its not leaking. As the fan blows air across the cold coils the water in the air condenses on to the coil. When enough water condenses it forms drops which drip out of the AC unit. In humid parts of the world AC units can drip enough to be nuisance. In really dry parts of the world you may not get any condensation at all.

the water forms from condensation of the humidity in the air.  if you ensure that your a/c is tilted down on the outside, the water should leak outside rather than inside.
