  1. baby...you probably blew a circuit breaker....see if the outside unit is running....check your fuse box....you can e-mail me and thank me in person in a minute!

  2. You might need to turn it off. put the temp on 76 degrees, then make sure if u have a switch that goes to fan on or off, to make sure that one is on auto. then turn the air conditioning back on.

  3. HVAC Tech.:  Could be the leak is worse than anyone thought. You will have to call the tech. back, or another one to find out for sure. Because you just had refrigerant added tells me there is a leak (how bad is it?) so it needs to be repaired first. How long since you had to put some in the last time? Is the outside unit running? You don't give enough information to really tell what your problem is.

  4. Well, it could be because there is actually too much Freon in the system now. To fix that, you'll actually have to call a repair person to take a look at the system.

Another reason could be that your A/C coils have iced up. On the indoor unit, remove the filter and check to see if there is ice on the coils. If there is, you'll need to turn the cooling system off and turn just the fan on. The coils may become icy if they are dirty or if your A/C unit is not draining properly.

  5. It could be a couple of things:

you need to clean your unit

    you have too much freon

you have something loose inside and/or something is catching causing the problem

    etc...

Any which way, I would have a professional look at it and not run it until you have fixed the problem.
